I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 3 L.0 Manual Transmission. I need to know what type of fluid to put in the tranny, I was planning on draining and refilling with new. Don't have an owners manual. It sure looks kinda thin when I have checked it. Any help would be appreciated. Ken

Any local auto parts shop can look that up for you, the local Ford dealers parts guy can tell you that over the phone.
Many manual gear boxes for quite a few years have been using automatic transmission fluid, and all sorts of non traditional (75-90 weight) gear lube...
