My 94 Ranger, 3.0V6 gets a check engine light often. The ECM provides a code
539 " Air conditioning on during self test". No performance issues with the truck and the AC works fine, just a nagging check engine light. Can someone explain what the self test is doing and what the problem might be? Thanks.
