my 98 ford f150 has problems with the anti theft alarm. it goes off for no reason at all at all hours of the night. how can i disconnect it? please help

Hum..just as a matter of interest...have you irritated the neighbors recently? Or are there small children (say, under the age of 18) in the area? Alternatively, are there large critters (raccoons, deer, etc) in the area? They might be hopping on it, or bumping into it, and setting the alarm off. I would suggest reading your owner's manual. There should be a section on disabling the alarm temporarily...which should help. regards Dave Mundt
