when starting cranks very long time starts and runs rough idle surges after engine is warm stalls at idle running down road vehicle runs good shut off wait
10 min and try to start long crank again
sound like a fuel pressure issue. Bad pump, or bad pressure regulator, or bad injector(s), are all likely candidates for the almost antique truck.
