Looking for possible causes for a 2003, 60K mile GMC Envoy not wanting to start.
Battery has been ruled out by putting in a new one.
Key turns and nothing. Low hum or buzz sound.
Any help is appreciated.

So much to choose from... Have you checked the condition of the battery cables (both tight and clean connections at the battery and the condition of the cables themselves), and the chassis and engine ground? How about the connection at the starter? What are you getting for voltage at the starter? Are you getting a full 12v of pick voltage at the solenoid?
