For reasons unknown I stopped by a Pontiac dealer today. They have the new 2006 2 door G6 GT V6 in stock along with some 05 four doors.
The new for 2006 GM Logo appears on both front doors just ahead of the body side molding. Its a little chrome plate with the letters GM with a line under the letters stamped into the 1" square plate.
You better have good eyes to read it if your stopped next to a car equipped with it.
Also noted that the 06' G6's had a painted charcoal colored steel wire mesh split grille, not plastic.
The window sticker was absent from the lone two door on the lot.
