94 Buick Regal 3800 electrical issues

Having a weird electrical issue with 1994 Buick Regal Custom.

  1. It started with no brakelights, or right hazard signal light. Fond on these forums the turn signal switch is common, so I replaced the turn signal switch. Problem resolved.
  2. Sometimes when I try to start the car, I get the 'click' of the starter. If I persist to try, it will start. The gauges will indicate over 13 volts charging. I will start to drive the car and I will see the gauges fade and the voltage drops. flicking high beams on and off will sometimes clear issue. Sometimes direction signals on will as well. A couple of things I've done. Battery was having issues, purchased and replaced. Made sure contacts are clean and snug. Starting problem still occurs intermittantly. Turn signal switch replaced as mentioned earlier. Also had an alternator shop check alternator (cost me some coffees and a box of doughnuts). I checked the alternator while running the car and it shows about 14.5 all the time, even when my gauges fade and turn signals slow down. I've just checked for clean ground connections under the dash. I'm running out of ideas before I go to GM to check it out. Any ideas?

Found there is another feed to the auxillaries. took off the 'hot' leads and cleaned them up. Haven't seen the fluctuation at all today to/from work. looks like my problem is solved.
