A electric car still has to meet the same crash testing standards. So i cannot see how that will be less. If its pure EV, you take the emission question out of the mix.
Thats a reach at this point. Electronics age and fail. Motor controllers run hot and can age and fail. The batteries certainly will age and capacity goes down. Without a major advancement in battery chemistry, batteries are still the weak point in the equation.
