just cut your cat in half, clean out al of the stuff inside of it, then just weld the correct size exhaust tubing in the middle, and there you have it, your very own home made cat-back exhaust

And in the US you can pay a BIG fine and possibly have a new friend named Bubba, who thinks you have a cute a**. Tampering with emissions devices is a Federal offence....

I actually punched out the center of the catalytic converter on a 1994 Saturn and it actually did better emissions wise than the previous year.... Ran a helluva lot better too......was probabaly partially plugged.....
