Where is the stimlulus mony going?

Half of the 4.4 BILLION, green initiative money, that BO and the Democrat controlled Congress said would create good American jobs, is going to foreign corporations and foreign countries, according to news reports.

Workers in countries like Japan, Korea, Vietnam, China, Russia and Brazil will get 2.2 BILLION of the US taxpayers money. Is this the change for which you voted?

If you didn't want it to happen, you shouldn't have voted for the incompetent GW Bush in the first place. Remember, the projected $1.5 trillion deficit is for GW Bush's last budget, which is in effect until October.

Remember: The last Republican president to balance the budget was Eisenhower. IOW no Republican president will ever balance the budget again.

Two words, Goldman Sachs some directly, most of it indirectly. A band of Gypsies wouldn't have a chance with that bunch.

Perhaps, but you are forgetting that no President has added ANOTHER 1.5 Trillion and proposed an ADDITION 3 Trillion to the National debt, on top of that 1.5 Trillion in just his first six month in office as is BO.

NO President has had the GDP DROP and the income to the US Treasury DROP since the Great Depression as they have under BO and the are Dims by spending money we do have.

The last President to put in place polices that resulted in double digit inflation, interest rates and unemployment was Jimmy Carter and BO is making him look good.

What an amazingly baldfaced liar you are.

"President Bush's budget chief blamed the faltering economy and the bipartisan stimulus package for the record $482 billion deficit the White House predicted for the 2009 budget year."

Bozama has single handedly more than quadrupled the projected 2009 deficit with the aid of the morons running the Congress.

You forgot to say in my opinion because the latest poles are showing most Americans believe the government should not be taking over the best healthcare system in the world.

What was your source for that list of lies? Where did you get it from? Produce your source.

I'm amused at GDP numbers, blaming Bush for pre-existing deficits, and the like.

So, if people believe that all of this deficit spending is Bush's fault, why do these same people believe that it's now okay to add an additional $1 trillion to the deficit at this point in time?

Of course, the dealers who sell the car don't get to keep any of the profits?

BTW, the companies that do sell the cars to the dealers are US companies, so they pay taxes in the US, even though they are foreign owned. So they do pay some income taxes tot he states and US gov't. In addition, many of the foreign-brand cars are US-made of mostly US parts. For example, about 1/2 the cars Toyota sells in the US are made domestically.

A large part of that deficit is because of the stimulus package that Obama signed. In addition, we wouldn't have been in this financial mess if the members of Congress provided proper oversight for the banking industry. Both the Democrats and Republicans share responsibility for this. So to blame it all on Bush is mistaken.

Please, no racial comments, like a band of Gypsies.

Correct. However, it is Bush's budget, not Obama's. Obama gets his first Budget starting in October. And the economic problems were not Obama's. As you may recall, the recession started while Bush was in office; however, the economic mess is due to the inaction of both Democrats and Republicans.

Please, don't blame that on Obama. The recession started with Bush in the White House.

Yet, the recession started with Bush in the White House.

How is America's government trying to take over a European health care system. Certainly, the US healthcare system is not the best in the world. It has the highest cost, yet there are other countries with lower infant mortality rates, longer life-expectancy and a far higher percentage of people who are covered. America's health care system is overpriced, inefficient, with too much redundant care (different docs ordering the same tests), a huge proportion of health care costs going for administration and profit, yet millions of people lack health care coverage. And many people who have health-care coverage end up going bankrupt because of a catastrophic illness or injury. So how is America's health care the best in the world?

Are you going to believe this source? How can you do something "single handedly" when you have the aid of someone (Congress)?

The quote doesn't include the aid of financial companies that sold mortgages that people could not possibly be repaid as well as the poor oversight by Bush's administration, Clinton's adminstration and both the Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

Recessions don't cause deficits, governments do by spending more than they take in. Please tell us you understand this extremely simple concept.

Sorry about that, Goldman Sachs and a group of Gypsies?

Bozama proposed it, Congress rubber stamped it, our CHILDREN and GRANDCHILDREN are paying for it. Sounds fair right?
