I was seriously considering a Sienna or oddy . So I did what I usually do when I'm going to buy a new car, I test drive an older version. I tested an '01 Sienna. I wasn't impressed. It felt tired but only had about 64k miles or so.
Then I saw a 2000 oddy on a lot. It had 54k miles. So I drove it. And it blew away the Sienna. I hate to say it cause I own an 01 Camry. I had the saleman check the manual during the drive and it said the timing belt needed to be changed every 60k miles?? I think this is a huge drawback (the sienna is a 90k change) to an otherwise fine ride. Is that the case on the 05's ???
Maybe he read it wrong? Is this one of those engines that messes up real bad when the TB breaks? I kinda like the styleing of the 2000 vs . the newer oddy.
