How would I go about running a cable from the battery terminal to the amp in the truck? Where is the best place to come through?

One commonly used technique is to run the cable through one of the existing grommets in the firewall, then under the carpeting back to the trunk. If you go to the Elantra GT Club or Elantra XD websites, you will find electrical forums full of information on hooking up amps and such.
