'76 v-12 that grows too rich

Problem is this: a '76 v-12 that starts, idles and then grows too rich. Temp sensor is fine, O2 sensor is correct, and the fuel pump, though an aftermarket universal model, is pumping the right amount of pressure. Any ideas? David Meadow Valley

Engine must have a device to control the air / fuel ratio, allowing more air as the motor warms (or less fuel).

O2 sensor is typically excluded at cold start but ought to affect the fuel quantity after warm up so the air part of the equation is suspect, IMHO.

Generic motor answer, your Jaguar may differ.
