When I had my XJ I installed a new adjustable track bar and mount from Rusty's Offroad, replacing the mount with a new bracket and the ball joint with a bushing.

I have a sheet of 1/8 inch 4160 cromoly steel plate at work, that ought to hold up.

Hi Bill, Sorry I'm so late to come back to the party...real busy keeping the kids busy after they're out of school. Anyway, I figured it was a shock issue with my Durango. I didn't know if that was bump steer though. I thought if I got some adjustable shocks, maybe I could increase the rebound force so that the shock pushes the wheel/tire back down to the pavement faster. No? Pete

Damn, Bill, now what newsreader are you using that you got that message that was started 3 weeks ago, and now you get another message and instantly know about it? I'm using Outlook Express, and I just downloaded Thunderbird which I'm still trying to figger out. Does the one you use give you a "you've got mail" type message, or do you have to go and check manually like I do? Pete
