my oil sending unit has been leaking, from the top of the sensor, so i replaced it today, with the starter, with a auto-meter machanical gauge, as the dam sending unit was only 10 dollars cheaper, than the machanical setup, and i think the YJ gages are crap, (im building an insert out of aluminum, on my mill,and anodizing it, to replace the center pod with the new gages) , any ways,
2.5L 4-mouser my question,
1-at an idle speed of 1200rpm what should the oil pressure be? what would it be at say 2200 rpm ?
2- can one use the original wiring harness wires to hook up an aftermarket (auto-meter) gas-gauge and engine-temp, Volts, ect, by splicing into the harness?
