99" Cherokee

Is the year 99" a good year for Jeep Cherokee's? Are there any inherent problems? You know like auto transmission quirks transfer case problem's? Exhaust problem's, any bad intake or exhaust manifold cracking? What kind of problem's if any at certain mileage's?? It has about 64,000 on it and I want a daily driver. And some thing that I can haul my CJ-7 with and not have any thing go south on me with it. Is it a select a track when it has 2 high,

4 high, and 4 Low, ? Sorry about all the question's . But I'm also pretty sure that when your buying something for the first time that you do like to get the straight scoop from the pro's. I know a lot about CJ's but not a thing about the Cherokee's.. Thank You very much for any help that any of you can provide. Jimmie: VP. The North Iowa Off- Road Club

I have a 99 XJ and have not had trouble with it at all, but I know off all the maintence that has been done to it,. The TC that you are describing in it is the command track, or part time 4WD, select track has full time 4WD. I have

94,000+ miles on my jeep and enjoy it alot.
