My wife and I are buying a well-maintained (regular oil changes, never ran hard, never towed with, all maintenance done regularly) 1994 Cherokee Sport 4WD w/ 185,000 miles from a friend of ours (so yes, we know the maintenance history).
I'm already planning on doing belts, hoses, fluids (trans, diffs, transfer case, antifreeze, brake, power steering), plugs, wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve, air filter, etc. Anything specific to Jeeps that I should be aware of?
Also, it has the typical hard-starting problem (crank crank crank crank crank crank crank crank crank crank crank start), any suggestions on that? I want to put remote start on it for my wife (it's really freakin' cold in Chicago), so it'd be nice to know it starts quickly for her.
Any help is very much appreciated!
