My address is spoofed too, by design. This should never be used as a criterion for anything in Usenet. Tomes

But you'll not an ass like Bill in either quality or quantity...

But you haven't talked to some of my neighbors. ;^)

Earle

There it is, being used as a criterion, lol. ;^)

Ignoring the Aflac commercialism, anyone can be conned at any age. It all comes down to the talent of the con artist and the state of mind and weaknesses of the conee. C.H.I.T. happens.

As for spoofed addresses, any real netcop will tell you the last thing you should do is use your real information. Even just with the identity theft going on today, everyone should use caution.

Theory and statistics say, men who grow more cynical as they age, live longer. The only thing you have to ask yourself, is what does the wife do to endure it all? Seems logical that being "girlie" as you put it, is in reality, pretty damn tough.

I'll offer my condolences, but I won't signup for contests, chains, or the like. James Thomas Burlson seems to be legit. But if you're in doubt, there is this wonderful tool call the internet and google. Or try...

Ya know Bill, I don't give a flying rat's ass about your family tree.

Your genealogical background has nothing to do with the fact that you can be a complete jerk at times. Not that everyone cant have a bad day, but you seem to have a lot more than most.

When you act like that, it makes you look like a little kid that's hungry for attention. Oh.. let's say the schoolyard bully. Bad attention is better than no attention at all, is that it?

If you were trying to be funny, it wasn't.

In my book it's bullshit, and when I've had it up to my eyes with bullshit, I am going to call you on it.

A netcop can be a number of people depending on your interpretation. A netcop can be any government agent assigned the responsibility of monitoring the internet for any illegal activity or information leading to or information about an illegal activity.

A netcop is also a inter/intran network security person, usually holding a medium-high level position, in a company or coporation, that monitors and controls any and all inter/intra network activities.

Gee.. the latter sounds an awful lot like what I do for a living.

Afraid eh? lol.. if that's what makes you happy believing.

Oh, and on your last comment.... Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Mr. Bill... truly an Aflac without a clue.

Thanks for the laughs!

You should be so lucky.

Furthermore, early on in the game you and I agreed to disagree now and then... you aren't going to cop out on me like this Bill. I'll tell you that I think you're full of s*it now and then, but that doesn't mean I would killfile you.

Not yet anyway.

You're just going to have to put up with me.

As far as your "truth/heat" - I still say it was insensitive and flippant.

One question... I've heard of flying rats, but I've never seen one. Where I can I find them? Since some of the people I work with are always telling me about them, I'd like to know exactly what they are referring to. ;-)

Btw.. I'm glad you guys agree to disagree. Heh, I hate it when people on the net start something and then bow out or let it get to them.

So far, I think there is a lot of decent people in this group, and outspoken in a good way too. :-)
