CJ 5 roll bar height

Hey Everyone, A friend got a CJ 5 that's rather solid, working out small mechanical bugs. We've been scratching our heads about the roll bar. It seems higher than most we've seen. He bought the Jeep from a body shop, they did a lot of work on the body, so who knows what may or may not have been done to it. Can anyone find the height from the floor to the main crossbar? Everything else looks close, but the main bar seems kinda high. It's a 79 or 80, can't remember which.

42 1/2" from the floor to the bottom of the tube. Stock 1979 CJ-5 with the fender-mounted bar. The other reference mark is that the stock center top-bow just kisses the top of the tube when you rock the bow over it -- if the tube were any higher the top-bow wouldn't reach the fabric.
