Electric switch boxes

Jul 23, 2004 8 Replies

I am running a half dozen or more aftermarket electric circuits into the cab of a CJ for various auxiliary devices (electric radiator fan, air compressor, winch, fog lights, etc.)

Right now I just have a bunch of mismatched plastic on/off switches dangling loose under the dash. I'd like to mount them better, and all together, without drilling a bunch of holes in the dash.

Ideally, I'd like to get a spiffy looking control panel pre-made for this type of purpose, with 10 or so switches (to leave me some room for adding future goodies) and inputs that allow easy connection and disconnection of wires (similar to household stereo speakers.) I could then bolt this on top of or beneath the dash.

I checked at the local Radio Shack and Autozone and didn't find anything that would fit my needs... I'm sure someone else has run into this situation before... got any suggestions?

Just about any switch you might need.

I sorta like the one from radioshack, although it is for 120 and doesn't have a lamp. But that's an easy fix.

Thanks, this looks like exactly what I need. Too bad there's no pricing or direct-order availability on their web site.
