Feels like I'm running on 4 instead of 6 cyl.

Let me give a quick background on my Jeep. I just installed a new Jasper re manufactured engine in my 1995 JGC. I had some fuel issues and some timing issues but worked all of those out. I replaced the PCM and all is good now except the truck feels like its not as powerful. When going up a hill or something I have to put my foot to the floor and it goes no where. What can I check to see whats going on with this engine?

Bill,

My Jeep feels like she is running on four cylinders, too. Any ideas?

The only solution is to cut your losses and sell me your Jeep for $50.

Fuel pressure regulator/vaccuum line to the regulator possibly.

How many miles since the engine was put in? Depending on the clearances on the rebuild, it will be tight for a while (2000-5000 miles). Do a compression check, and also you may want to check bearing clearances with some plastigage.
