Looks like a great deal. I will say, however, EVERYTIME I sold one of my CJ7s, I have ALWAYS regretted it, even when I had a Wrangler too. :(
Hard to beat a Rubi, though! Good luck with the sale.

LOL * LOL * LOL!!! the yj look is not too bad (perhaps because i have 1) maybe a bit too much plastic but i have to agree - there's nothing more pleasing than the raw all metal looks of the cj's (have seen a couple)

I forgot why I quit posting on this NG, but thanks for reminding me you elitist a$$.
Hell, I love my Rubicon, love(d) my CJ's, my YJ, my ZJ, my TJ, and my Dad's XJ, but I guess I am a trendy, yuppie sellout.

don't get me wrong there are tons of things to like about new tj's problema is, you stare at the dash every time you drive w/ such an ugly & idiotic design of new dashes, forget it, would not want 1 of these
what does technology have to do w/ uglying things up? u c, 1 thing y it is unlikely i will ever be in market for new vehicle of any kind is because they are all ugly all of them! w/ few exceptions for specialty vehicles, tj or hummy being some examples but i already have a yj all the rest look like a soapbar & their dashes look all the same, too can't stand that
holy crap, you've been thru all of them? i think you beat Bill on this 1 lol

New TJ's? They have been around for 8 years already. I have had two, '98 and my Rubicon. Very capable. I just don't have time to work on the CJ and every penny seems to go into the Rubicon as it has such a solid foundation. Yeah, perfect world and infinite supply of money and know how, I would love to keep the CJ and drive that as that has always been my favorite model. I am sure the classic Shelby owners laugh at the new Mustang as well...Vette owners...KIA owners...
Sorry about the blast, I haven't posted in this group for a while. I am just not a big fan of the mentality of 'some' (not all CJ) owners towards YJ->TJ owners. Christ, they are all Jeeps right? (i am sure some elitist will come back with a AMC/DC/Willy's intelligent response saying they aren't all Jeeps). I have owned enough Jeeps to know the difference.

I _AM_ a TJ owner. I STILL like the early Jeep's dash better. It's a personal preference. I've had 2 CJ7s, a YJ and two TJs. If they came out with a TJ with a flat dash, I'd like it better. I don't think anyone was talking about capability here. There is no question my '03 is the cream of the crop, capability wise. This doesn't mean that the dash isn't an abomination of Jeepery.
