Have you given your Jeep a name?

Shazzbot! I had forgotten that Pam Dawber drove a jeep in the series.

One of my friends had a bus that leaked oil that burned on the pipes and was sucked in forming a fog bank. He was of Jewish heritage and named his bus Auschwitz.

Real Young'uns didn't have TV. :-)

My '94 YJ is known as "The Jeep". My '76 CJ5 restoration project is known as "El Diablo"..."The Devil!" Actually, now that all the major issues (other than front drum brakes that are spotty even when the humidy is high) with the CJ have been addresssed it runs like a top. But, the devil's still in there, truyst me!

Yup...had a huge thing for her and 'half-pint' from Little house on the prairies. Oh...Mrs. King from Scarecrow and Mrs. King!

City Jeep....When I first got it, my buddies claimed it would only make it in the city and be good for four wheeling over Curbs!!

Pretty clever, but that would've been too many letters to fit. :) Actually, it's not a bad color...it only appears purple in direct sunlight. If it's overcast or dark it looks blue or black. I wouldn't have ordered the color, but the slightly used (in 2000) Jeep had everything else I wanted, low miles and a low price. I decided to live with the purple. Some people love it and I've had a few assume I had a custom paint job done. -John

Well it is a strong purple, so "Barbie car" has kinda stuck. Course when working on same "Piece of ..." may take precedence :-). Best, Creighton

Mostly call her "My Jeep" as several others do.... but I also refer to her as "Annie" occasionally. Not too creative... it's just that it's a 60th Anniversary Edition.

My buds have taken to calling mine the "Ultimate TJ." They have around $40k invested in theirs, and I follow them wherever in my budget boosted TJ with BFG 32' tires...yes, it half joke, and half serious, but makes me feel real good when the "Super YJ" with the "JEEP NV" tag just can't outpace me. Hes runs D60s and 44s.

We call mind " Mikie " or " Mike " after Mike Wazouski from Monsters Inc. . My jeep is the same color as the one eyed caracture in that movie. Or as my neighbor 5 houses likes to call it " The Mud Monster".
