I see several mistakes here. First your AC person is missing something and most all makes are having ac problems. Second, look at the battery next time you buy a used car. If it's not new looking replace it! Learn when to fill up with gas/petrol. Also you don't want to know what this Yankee VW and Jeep driving guy thinks about British cars! If your not capable or replacing light bulbs, stick to new cars under warranty. For what it's worth, the exhaust manifold cracked on a Land Rover I used to own.

The sad part about this schlub, is that if he had approached this group (leaving his prejudice at home) prior to purchase, asking what to look out for...or even post purchase, as he was having issues, he probably could have saved hundreds of pounds, had less headaches, and not made nearly an arse of himself.
