issues with 93 sport?

Manifold? A/C ( I've never owned a vehicle with a/c before)? transfer case, etc.I'm picking one up tomorrow unless there are any serious issues you guys can warn me about.

I would be more than willing to come along and give it a good once over for you Jo.

I am mobile and can bring tools like my compression tester, etc.

I should be free after 4:00 pm or so today and tonight. Nothing much up for tomorrow either.

THAT would be amazing! I'm teaching from 6-9pm, but I'm more than certain Steve would be pleased to 'endure' your company ;)

Perhaps a brewski or two afterwards? I do have tomorrow off...

Is the vehicle close to your place for a look see tonight or would it be better to come by in the morning to go look at it?

Even if we check it over after we pick it up we have 10 full days to return it for a complete refund under Ontario law, so I'm not going to worry about it too much. I think I'd rather bring it over to your place anyway.

Still, are there any known issues specific to a 93 sport that we ought to take into consideration?

Thanks, Jo

Check the floor boards under both front carpets. The drivers side will likely be rotted.

Check the drivers side door hinges carefully for rust on the body side. Some had defective panels there that went to spider web.

Check the rad from the engine side for rot.

I would take a magnet and run it along the rocker panels below the door and in front of the rear tires to see how much metal was left vs body fill. That lets you know how much work the next paint or rust fix will be.

Otherwise nothing special.

If you want to bring it by here, that would work. Olof is coming by to fix the rear brakes on the Cherokee and replace the e-brake cable early tomorrow, but he doesn't need me here the whole time, only to get going on it. Once I point the way, he can handle it, but it is likely better if I am around.... ;-)

Could you phone me or email me is what so I can make plans?
