I dunno if any custom car shops in your area could fit you with really nice outlines, but you might be able to do it yourself with something like a soft wax marker to outline where to place the tape. Might as well be cool as utilitarian.

In the early 50's the local police department would offer free bright red reflective markers...kinda looked like the upper half of a sergeant chevron set. Some other organization also offered free reflectors, round things about 2 inches...then all the local bike shops got involved and simply added them in your choice of colors for free. Most bikes still had those horrid battery powered lights, for night use, the generator style were pretty rare--not to mention expensive.

Heh.. I still have a generator light somewhere. Rilly makes you work at night. They made lights mandatory at college so I begrudgingly stuck it on and got it to work. Couple of weeks later I bought a battery powered one that I could take with me.

I dont worry about it much. They are all scratched from the brush here anyway. After a year on the Jeep, they look better than the last soft top I had (Kayline). The only bad spot on them is where my rear window rubs on my Kilby rack. Oh well. when it becomes a real problem (rubs thru) I will worry about it. The reason it rubs is that my Kilby rack is now sitting 3" higher so as to accomidate the ARB fridge.

Hmmm.... I am begining to get some ideas. Wonder if the guy who painted my hood could get a reflective paint????? If so, this could be fun! =)

Swap meet special! =) Saw it, went and borrowed $ from the guys (I hadnt planned on any large purchases so didnt have much cash) and bought it out from under one of my buddies noses. LOL. Its kinda helpful that ARB has an office in Seattle area...makes the big meet easy for them to come to.

You'll notice that is only for the older Jeeps. Not the newer ones. However, my buddy next door has a real nice one from them on his old Scout. I much prefer the style of top I have now. My Kayline didnt survive the roll.

Be careful, at night that could annoy the crud out of you especially if it causes reflections in the windows. In a truck bed it's interesting.

Although glow in the dark undercoat and wheel wells would look "interesting" :)
