Anyone know a jeep-friendly mechanic who can do emissions work on a '85 Jeep CJ7 in the Davis, CA area? I had it Nutter bypassed just fine for a few years, and then it failed smog as a gross polluter. I tried to put everything back, but not everything seems to be working now (computer or stepper motor seems to have issues). I don't want to go pay for the initial retest+inspection that a shop will charge, since I've already mostly isolated the problem myself.
It would be nice to find someone already familiar with this specific issue, rather than a regular mechanic who will spend a long time (and time==$$) figuring out the system initially.
