I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd with a noisy rear axle. Preliminary diagnosis from an Indie - bad bearings, perhaps rebuild of rear axle which means $$$.
Has anyone successfully filed a claim against Chrysler? There sure seems to be a lot of horror stories regarding '97 and '98 Jeeps.
$40K and only 59K miles and already JUNK.
