I just dont feel like writing up a full trip report. No one else will do it, so I said the heck with it...you all get just some qickie notes this time. What I should have done is blogged it daily on my laptop so I could remember exactly what happened when and why it was funny, etc.

Talked with a buddy of mine about the trip. He is quite envious. I have to bring my laptop over there this week some time and show him the pictures (hes not on line). I was telling him about the Jeep Jam in BC last night and he is all set to go with. This ought to be super fun now!

Yea, its a _very_ "interesting" feeling to the Jeep when you lose one of the rear control arms off of the axle. Its kina loose and gangly feeling in the back and you know it just aint right, even if you dont know whats wrong. The first time I did this, it was on the drivers side, and I was up at Walker Valley, WA. Not sure when it completely let loose, but I had issues all day on that trip. Thats when I met the guys at S&N Fab... we headed over to their place on a Sunday afternoon in hopes we could find them to see if they would fix my rig. Great guys. This time I caught it before it completely came off, but there was only about 1/2 inch of weld on one side holding it. One more good bump up the rocks would have done that in.

I'll take the Jeep into Big Rocks fab shop (its local, S&N insnt) on Friday. I figure it will take him about a week to get everything done, since its in between his regular work. I cant wait to get it back, I have a neighbor who has some spots he wants to go play at once I am on the trail again. =)

That looks like such fun! I loved the pics of Moe...we have a Boston too. Does he get harnessed in during runs?

Yes, he has a harness and is attached to the roll cage most of the time when in the Zuk. He is a really sweet dog. One blue eye and one brown one. And no, he is not blind in either of them. He likes to sit kind of behind the seats and stick his head into the middle between them (no center console) where he can be right by "dad's" hand. lol.

Um yea, something like that. A couple of the days down there he really needed his jackets. He is not a cold weather dog.
