Hiya Guys, Heres my question? I want to get my hubby a MIG welder for x-mas. We are rebuilding a CJ7 from the ground up so, there would be some welding of new perches to the frame, body work etc. My question is, I saw a MIG welder that had 100 amps, would that be enough juice to get the job done? I know nothing about welding (yet) and being a woman, I dont wanna get ripped off. I've tried to call welding supply companies in my area for advice but all they want to do is sell me a welder that could probably rebuild the Titanic !
