It looks like a standard DJ that has been painted green. I would doubt that any 3 star ever saw it much less rode in it.

Billy Ray did pass the time by typing:

For all the hype of "wonderful paint" "restoration" etc, the engine bay looks filthy. I'd want to carefully check all the body metal with a magnet/bondo detector before even thinking about buying it.

It's a REALly silly Jeep. What a load of BS. I enjoy an interesting auction , but this guy is full of crap.

It's not that atypical of Ebay though. Some of the stuff that is offered, where people are one hundred percent serious, makes you wonder. Sometimes, people even buy the stuff.

"Has a really nice PERIOD CORRECT chrome GEAR RACK perfect for your duffle bag full of wartime spoils or hard-to-find Italian Navy memorabilia"

I've been wondering where to stash my Italian Navy memorabilia in my TJ, and it is a real problem. Or perhaps I'm lying.

Did you go to read his feedback comments? He has apparently misrepresented vehicles before...

Hilarious. 'The Krauts will be AFEARED!' Yeah, 'afeared' of pissing their lederhosen in fits of laughter. The 3-star flags are a scream.

Makes you wonder about the schools in Enid, Oklahoma teaching that WWII was still going on in 1970

I might have been interested if it included that .50cal BAR rifle he mentioned.

Technically the Crimean war (started 1853) went on till 1966, since the tiny town of Berwick on Tweed was left out of the Treaty of Paris leaving it theoretically at war with Russia until the mayor and a Russian Diplomat signed it off :-)

Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. "Forward, the Light Brigade! "Charge for the guns!" he said: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.

  1. "Forward, the Light Brigade!" Was there a man dismay'd? Not tho' the soldier knew Someone had blunder'd: Their's not to make reply, Their's not to reason why, Their's but to do and die: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.

  1. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell Rode the six hundred.

  2. Flash'd all their sabres bare, Flash'd as they turn'd in air, Sabring the gunners there, Charging an army, while All the world wonder'd: Plunged in the battery-smoke Right thro' the line they broke; Cossack and Russian Reel'd from the sabre stroke Shatter'd and sunder'd. Then they rode back, but not Not the six hundred.

  1. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell, They that had fought so well Came thro' the jaws of Death Back from the mouth of Hell, All that was left of them, Left of six hundred.

  2. When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made! All the world wondered. Honor the charge they made, Honor the Light Brigade, Noble six hundred.
