Replace Front Bumper

Kate,

There are no airbag sensors in the TJ front bumper area. The airbags are triggered inertially, and the airbag sensor unit is on the transmission hump under the dashboard.

i did. Non stock bumpers are OK except they won't cover the bumpers themselves. You are not allowed to "modify the vehicle to be deliberately dangerous to others or in a clearly unsafe fashion". Wood bumpers in and of themselves are not "clearly unsafe" and are not "deliberately dangerous to others." In fact my agent says shopmade wood bumpers used to be very common on vans and were never a problem.

Not to be a beggar, but I've searched high and low for a tailgate bar and clips for my 99 Wrangler. It came with a hardtop, so it has never had the clips installed. I'm running without the hardtop this summer and have a tonneau cover for the occasional rainy day, but it did not come with the bar or clips so the back just kind of flaps around. I've searched ebay, but they always want a little more than I'm willing to pay. Do you possibly have anything like that "laying around" your shop. I'd be happy to do business with you. Thanks in advance for any help.
