UPDATE - was 93 YJ vibration problem

Thanks for the tips guys,,,,, turns out the best tip was from a guy at work: His recommendation was to replace the u-joints on the drive shaft, even though they appear to be solid sometimes you'll get one bearing cap that goes bad and it is enough to set off vibration.

Replaced both U-joints yesterday,,, vibration is gone today! And sure enough there was one bearing cap with half the needles chewed up.

thanks again

Mind you this vibration was very subtle, the wife never noticed it while she was driving, but when I was driving it seemed like the bottom was ready to fall out ! ;-)

It really is shocking to be driving down the road and hear clicking , grinding , scrapping and realize it is the car next to you and they are toolin along without a care in the world.

I think some folks wait till it breaks and then they truly know what is making that funny noise!! ;-)
