Well, I sat back and waited, and let him hang himself yet again.
And he did.
He screwed up big time.
In his rush to impress everyone with his knowledge of things Welsh, he performed as expected. His translation of "the place where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, who slid, climbed and swallowed mountains, known as 'landeater,' played his flute to his loved one." is not Welsh. Far, far, FAR from it. Jonno would know. It's actually Maori, from New Zealand.
The correct translation is, "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave" which sounds a bit more Northern Hemisphere.
Here's the link he used, so you can see first hand what a scholar he is, and how he only speaks about what he knows. I love sarcasm, and in Billy's case, it's sarchasm, because there's a 'Hughes' gap between what is said and what he understands.
