worm guts smell out of my rear deck carpet ?

take carpet out of Jeep clean jeep well scrub carpet with soap and water let dry sprinkle on baking soda and let sit for about 20 minutes or more vaccuum spray with febreeze put carpet back in jeep (although why you would want it I dont know )

"spray with febreeze" that crap STINKS... used it to get the stench out of my car... I'll take the old stench over the febreeze... took weeks to disipate.

Remove carpets and have it Rhino lined.. :) Then you can have all the worms back there you want and can always wash it out with a garden hose.

oh..the stench was on the rear deck too.. damn worm stink.. I washed it with soap+water, then sprayed febreese.. the mat is still in the garage drying.

I may just go sprinkle baking soda all over the place.

yeah I had thought about that,, but I dont want to deal with removing the front seats, the console etc etc. I see some nice liners in the Quad magazine.. may go that route

If I was faced with your problem, I would pull the carpet and scrub it down, let it dry and scrub it down again.

I would leave it out for a week or so before putting it back in. Having said that, my Jeep has no carpet. I don't know that it has ever had carpets. Carpets just make stuff for dead worms to stick to.

Busy. She has started a sewing studio and is going crazy at it.

She has 2 Jeeps now though, she got a Cherokee as well as her YJ. Last I heard she is planning on coming on our end of summer run up to James Bay in northern Canada.

Febreeze is great stuff. We used it to treat the interior of a '95 F150 that had 'moldy wet dog smell'. No more smell objections, the truck sold quickly.
