Carpet of Tacoma

Apr 05, 2004 2 Replies

Hi-

The light gray carpet of my Tacoma has a little hole, about the size of a pea. The hole is not in the padding but the fabric is missing.

Please recommend a product or suggest an idea that will fix it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

How about cutting a pea sized area of carpet in an area where it cannot be seen, like where the carpet runs under the seats. Then try rubber cement to 'plug' the hole with your carpet piece. Maybe a junk-yard will have some carpet to try.

Are you sure it's not the spot where the little plastic thing goes, to hold the genuine Toyota floormat in place? This is located on the driver's side, toward the left, just below the edge of the seat.
