I'm checking out both the Kia and Hyundai cars, are they about equal? price seems good on both, how about quality? Any oppinions appreciated. Thanks

Kia is owned by Hyundai, which explains things like the same motors and other components shared between vehicles, and identical warantees.

KIA made better cars, then was bought out by Hyundai - so now they are made a bit worse as Hyundai wants itself to be the premiere line of the two.
