BBC Today Programme - vote to try to repeal a law

Dec 13, 2006 13 Replies

I've just found this on the BBC website:

They're trying to pick a piece of legislation to suggest removing from the books - a possible chance to fuel some debate on NERC part 6 (Rights of Way).

Sorry, Building Regs Part P was my nomination.

Sadly there's not the slightest chance of part P being withdrawn, there are far too many vested interests involved and it's all in the name of public safety so they have huge ammunition to fight for their survival. Greg

And that's just the standard of spelling on the petition..

Signed, with a grimace.

Done and Done: and lets see more Landies off road where they belong - driven sensibly of course :)

Also Ditto!! and don't forget to return on the 22nd of Dec to vote on the short list like wot it sez. Landnurse.
