blocked wiper jets

just a suggestion but maybe in in-line fuel filter could be fitted into the water line and hence stop wiper jets blocking ,must try to see if flow would be reduced to a trickle. keep you all posted with the results

Haven't really followed this thread but any blocked washer jets I've had have been easily cleared with a fine sewing needle (maybe while someone else activates the pump). But then maybe I've been lucky.

If theres a suitable biopcide in the water you shouldnt get yuk growing in the reservoir to block the jets up. In a motor factors 5 litres of screenwash ( its basically alcahol)costs a few quid. steve the grease

It's also an excellent way of washing your sleeves without having to remove your shirt.

that's all fine, but if you've already got the yuk in there, and it's not readily accessible (such as the rear washer bottle on my ford) then it's a problem. Bloody jets keep blocking.

The olf-fashioned ones with separate pumps used to have a filter on the end of the pipe int he bottle - I suspect that the new ones with the pump mounted on the bottle don't.

Household bleach added to the water stops the growth well.
