Digital Hearing Aids (NOT SPAM)

Sep 12, 2006 4 Replies

Hi,

A question for you techy ones.

My wife has 2 digital hearing aids and whilst driving today I had to use kickdown to overtake a very slow car on a narrow road. Really hit it hard.

We were both very surprised when both her hearing aids gave 3 loud beeps.

Any idea what could have caused that and more important could it have any effect on either the car or hearing aids?

TIA,

ErnieH

H'mm I was going to suggest it could have been the LPG system but you won't have one, our LPG system let out a few bleeps when I floored it once and the ECU dropped to petrol... apartenly some sort of safety feature... most impressive had I known what is was doing but startling on an overtake situation... just waited for the oxygen masks to drop from the roof ;-)

Sorry I'm not helping much!
