Electric central locking on a Defender!
We are talking about the ones with the unmendable leaks here aren't we?
You know, the one where everything electrical (except the starter for some reason) is less reliable than something built in a Fiat factory on a Friday afternoon.
The one where a number of whole Internet pages are dedicated to solving the intractable problems with the alarm system?
Someone decided to add electric central locking to that!
And someone bought one!
And what's more is surprised when it stops working!
Look, the Defender is a fine vehicle, mine is now 15 years old and still starts every morning first turn of the key, but new Defender owners don't deserve a Land Rover built central locking system inflicting on them...
If I were you I'd treat your electric central locking exactly the same way people treat Defender interior light door switches: Great when they work, but when they don't it's normal...
