Just ourchased a couple of new headlighe washer Jjets for my 2000 series 2 Disco, and was wondering how hard they are to install ( for the average handy gut ) or is it a dealer job..?
One of the old ones has aleadry broken and the hose is no longer connected...and i can't see where it is now lurking...muct be inside the bumper or something...
Curious to know wether the bumper needs to come off etc...

I just replaced the passanger side jet on my D1 and it was really easy. I spent more time getting the flathead screwdriver from the garage then I did putting the jet in place. Just poke around and you'll find the hose and put a new clamp on it if it needs one.
cool...did you replace the hose as well...as my new jets have a section ( approx 12" ) attached to them... ?
I though it would be easier to joing them at the jet rayher than that further underneath...but the hose looks crimpped on and hard th remove...
I just reused the same hose that was connected to the old jet since I didn't get a new piece of hose with the new jet. I just unscrewed the clamp, pulled the hose out and it went into the new one pretty easy. I don't see why you couldn't join the two hoses together though if it's going to be a pain to remove the newer one.
yeah...my new jets have the hoses kind of krimped on...looks tricky to remove..... but i'll investigat either joing the hoses or I'll sort something out...first i need to locat the lose hose from the exitsting broken jet...
