Global Warming and CO2

I beg to differ on this one. There's no discussion taking place here, just never ending monologues from people with their own entrenched view points. Couple that with certain people's love for producing reams of prose with little substance and even less LR content, then I'm afraid it's bordering on spam.

Julian.

Don't blame us, blame the nasty man with the baseball bat forcing you to read it all!

On the contrary, I've hardly read any of it, my eyes glazed over. But I still have to look at all the off topic downloaded headers (I think that's the word) litttering my news browser.

I'm going to be cheeky here and not practice what I preach - I note two senior British climatologists stuck their heads above the parapet yesterday and indicated that the GW case is almost certainly grossly overstated. (Radio 4 - today programme)

Indeed, but we're talking about the ones who are rabbiting on about hurricanes, massive flooding, tornados etc etc appearing in our lifetimes, basically people who want some publicity by standing up and shouting "everyone panic!!!". There's very few of them but they get attention from the press looking for headlines, despite peppering their OTT statements with "could" and "maybe" and "at the extreme end" and so on.
