LR drivers ..... old farts ??

Ditto in the Peaks - only the worst drivers are the "professional" drivers - they know *far* more than the locals ;-)

I had one of my rear yres blow-out doing around 80 in my 110 on the A66 (it was a long downhill stretch, you know how it is). Being a rear tyre the effect was minimal, I managed to get it off the road and stip it with the aid of an incline so not much brake needed.

the tyre had a neat split right through the sidewall all the way around the tyre about half way between the bead and the tread, it had an inner tube in too. then when taking the wheel off I shredded my fingers when I lifted it by the split sidewall, very very stupid. bled all the way home.

Regards. Mark.(AKA, Mr.Nice.)

You think thats difficult you should see what the buses round here have to cope with in suburban streets, yep bendibuses and all.

My series is prone to roll somewhat lately, it is inherent in the suspension I suspect, however I dare say that replacing the shocks might help considering the state of them, they look like the originals fitted 30 years ago :(

It's obvios really that you drive within the limits of the vehicle, anything will flip if you drive it fast enough.
