I will try to translate the last paragraph with a statement of the commercial director of LR in Brazil Mr. John Peart:

"When we will get the Defender fitted to the north american safety demands, our production will climb very quickly". ..."



The article also added that today the Brazilian plant employs only 40 people, but this number can double or triple by sales, said Peart. The Brazilian plant has a capacity of producing 3,500 cars a year, but last year has employed only 1/3 of its capacity.
