No problem with Java (I just don't bother with the site at all), but Flash is just unnecessery, annoying and a very good way of putting off people from regularly visting... IMO, of course. It has it's place, for example a product tour, but should never be on "normal" pages.

Movie players that use flash players that are only available on windows are another one... Or in fact any movie file that's not in mpeg format. What the f*ck is wrong with mpeg, it's a more flexible container than AVI.
