Anyone going to the Outdoors Show at the NEC this weekend? Last year there were some really tasty trailers there and plenty of other essential big boys toys and expedition kit. If you do go I'm working on the Black Country Tourism Stand, so come and say hello. Cheers, John

We're going - probably tomorrow but maybe Sunday.
I reckon 200 quid on climbing kit that'll sit in the airing cupboard for 2 years (like the 20 Cassin wiregates and new Marlow rope) and 500 quid on absolutely essential sodding useless gadgets for 'expedition and adventure travel'... And a "Fat Bob" snowboard if anyones' selling them cheap...
Shame that the Adventure Travel Hall (11) is sponsored by Crag Hoppers. I've never really rated their stuff...
