My 1994-built classic (1995 model year) was a soft dash.
I've got the 1995 Electrical Troubleshooting Manual and it's definitely soft dash.
I'd guess that if you have the hard dash that the manual that you have may well cover what you need. If you know that is not the case, which specific area(s) do you need to cover and I'll look further?
The full ETM, incidentally, is a bit much for e-mail at around 28MB
