Refurbing leather seats

The P38 seats are a bit dry & cracked. I plan to feed them & recolour where it needs it.

I'll give them a good clean (when i can walk, that is) would you apply restorer/food before colouring, or the other way round.

Had to get two new tyres tonight, one holed by a big f*ck off nail & onean Lee ;)

It's off in for the water pump bearing tomorrow too.

I can't drive tomorrow, not becuase i shouldn't, I can't get into the focus due to the stiffness baby ;)

Leather soap first to get out the marks and restore some of the suppleness then feed and colour nip down a saddlers for the good stuff. Derek

Probably best to do the entire seat as although the colour should match the texture may not. Bit like the difference between eggshell and satin paint.

I used a Woolies kit and got excellent results. They only really supply in kits large enough to do everything anyway. You have to send them an offcut of the leather for them to match - a bit cut from underneath the seat usually.

Hope you heal well and soon.
