I'm new to this group - impressed by the knowledge base, informative and entertaining contributions etc etc....
I'm thinking of running my 300tdi on a diesel/vegoil mix..... There's a lot of info related to this on the net - seems to be two schools of thought on the subject, on one side you get "it's going better than ever" advocates, whilst on the other side are doom mongers with dire warnings of injector pumps rolling over with their legs in the air, and exhausts which become bunged up with so much un-burnt bbq residue - that they eventually catch fire, going up like a chip pan....
Are those positive folk, just short term users who're destined to become the dispondant doom-mongers of tomorrow?
What I'm looking for is some balanced feedback from a long term user with more than a few thousand miles experience....
Any comments?
